Was reading the article this morning in the Tennessean about McNair changing his mid-week work routine, meaning he actually would do some, and they had this statement:

Now, in order to develop the trust and gain the feel of young receivers like Roydell Williams, Courtney Roby, Bobby Wade and Bo Scaife — and a potential free agent addition or two — McNair simply needs to spend more time with them when he is healthy.

Just curious as to why Brandon Jones is not in that list...and Bobby Wade is?

I am thinking they meant Brandon Jones instead of Bobby Wade.

Jones is banged up pretty bad. He was on crutches last I heard.

Considering Jones will not be able to participate in the off season with McNair and the other receivers and might not be ready when the season starts they may have left him off.
Fisher said in his 104.5 interview that McNair is looking forward to working with the WRs in the offseason and developing the same kind of trust he had with Wycheck and Mason. Seems like McNair needs to work with Troupe more as well although Troupe is going to be in his 3rd year.

Brandon's injury was late in the season and fairly serious. I doubt we'll see much of him until late in the 2006 season.

Pretty sure it was just a media oversight. Wouldn't read anything into it.

So does this mean that Steve has finally figured out that practicing ACTUALLY helps the rhythm of the passing game and timing with his recievers?? Wow, good job Steve, it only took you 10+ years....laughable, and you all wonder why our passing game sucks.

He missed lots of practice in 03 and had a MVP year. Maybe he underestimated the need to practice that rythym with the young guys. If you think he's the sole problem for our passing game.... :sad2:

It didn't really suck all that bad until Mason and Wycheck left. Knowing receivers tendencies is probably why Erron Kinney led the team in receptions...
