Brandon, Roydell, Courtney, Troupe, Calico, McCairens, Cris Brown, VY, etc....... Man, Floyd sure knew how to pick an offense in this decade (2000's). Thank goodness he's advising Belichek now.

And before anyone screams, Mason, Mcnair and Wychek were from the 90's drafts....and Bennett was undrafted. He made some good Defense picks, but he sucked on O.

    1. Chris Brown was considered a steal when healthy. Produced way more than anyone expected- he was just made of glass.
    2. Calico was looking like a steal as well, until Roy Williams ended his career.
    3. VY wasn't Floyd's choice nor Fisher's.
    4. McCareins was decent for a season or 2. He was a 4th round pick.
    5. Bennett was undrafted, but acquired and that was on Floyd's watch.
    6. Roby. Ok.
    7. Troupe. Ok.
    8. Roydell was our best receiver for a few years- and again, got hurt.

If you want to judge a GM for players that ended up hurt, then you can bash even the greatest one in the league. (New England has had quite a few acquisitions end up having no impact due to injury)

Bo Scaife isn't so bad for a 6th round pick, is he?
    Erron Kinney was good.

Kind of hard to judge the guy when he rarely picked offense. The few times he did, they were late rounders (usually 3rd and beyond)

Sucks to hear that about B Jones, I was hoping to see him do well since he is playing in the NFC.

You just proved the point that Floyd sucked picking an O. Thank You. :ha:

Woulda been, coulda been, shoulda been......Players in the league come back from injuries all the time, most are not chronic problems like Titan draft choices.....He was the GM, IT WAS HIS JOB to pick an Offense!

The O draft choices still weren't so good. That is a reflection on Floyd. Not one standout or pro bowler on O, with the exception of VY as a substitute in his rookie year. Scaife doesn't even make most top 10 lists. McCareins never had more than 46 catches with the Titans ( in 2003). Kinney was a great guy, but look at how short his career was. Floyd is a fun guy to listen to, very personable. He bleeds Titan blue, but he lost his edge in the 2000's.

Yeah. He was a 3rd and one that was the best back in the league for a season or 2... which is about 10x's better than anything we ever expected out of the guy.
Before the draft, I had never even heard of the guy.

I wouldn't say he was the best, he had a ridiculous yard per carry one year.
