You guys do know that the actor who plays Walt Jr. legitimately has Cerebral Palsy in real life, right?

It's a milder version, and he does exaggerate it a bit in the show, but damn... so much hate here.

I have known sever people with CP and they did not have speech problems. Found it odd that Walt jr did.

One guy, whom I worked with, got off a potential DUI because of his CP. Guy has to lift his leg's out of the car with his hand's. Cop came to the door while guy was lifting his leg's out. Saw him, apologized and let him go lol.

yes.. I know he really has CP. I said that he got picked for the role solely because of his disability.

The fact that he will probably never be in anything "big" ever again, is a strong indication that he just wasn't a good actor. I'm not being discriminatory.. I'm being even-handed in my judgment of him. He sucks as an actor.. I think it could have been done better. Just my opinion. He was the only questionable choice of actor in the series, IMO. Everyone else was spot-on.

Pretty sure it's common for people with CP to have speech problems.

Real life Walt Jr (RJ Mitte) has some speech problems.

yeah, the severity varies from person to person. Mitte did have to learn how to walk in crutches for this show.

He had to tone up his speech impediment, and make himself more handicapped than he actually was, for the show.

I agree that he's not a great actor by any means, but he did exactly what the role demanded.

Of course he got the role because of his disability... They wanted Walt and Skyler to have a disabled son to add to the difficulties and stress of their lives.

It's not like there are many actors with CP out there.

It wouldn't be the first time a non-handicapped person was hired to portray a handicapped person..

Drake, the "badass" rapper for example. lol

Do not post that. Now XO will be in and make some kind of comment directed to me about Drake.

    Ugh. Drake.

I feel like that guy is one of the least likable people out there. He just looks like such a joke and a douche at the same time.
