    TITANS RUSHING FLATTENS LATE

    In the first quarter, the Titans rushed five times for 35 yards, a 7 yard-per-carry average. But over the final three quarters that average dipped to 3.4 (19 carries for 65 yards).

    TITANS STRUGGLE RUSHING ON FIRST DOWN

    The Titans were averaging 4.5 yards per carry on first down heading into Sunday's game. Chris Johnson ran 16 yards on the first play of the game. From there, 11 first-down rushes produced 29 yards -- an average of 2.6 yards. That set up many second-and-longs for Kerry Collins.
