Floyd wanted Cutler in the draft correct?

    No way. Floyd Reese sucked.

I don't think he's necessarily better at drafting. Yes, he drafted Steve and Eddie.

He also drafted Pacman and Vince... among other big 1st round busts like Dyson, Holmes, and Woolfolk.

    Terrible GM IMO.

Klug and Ayers are looking to be really good picks. Campbell seems like he may be something special down the line as well. Only time will tell with Locker.

So... I think our GM is doing fairly well on drafts at the moment. We just suck awfully when it comes to FA.

drafted haynesworth+mcnair+eddie... thats 3 MVP candidates right here in less than 10 years. Haynesworth was good while he was a titan, just like eddie and steve...

Brought in Kevin Carter. Drafted Jevon Kearse and DMase when they was good. he found drew bennett when no one else would give him a shot

Fisher stuck his neck out for Pacman and insisted on getting him. You can read the history behind that pick. Floyd even said it himself.. that was a Jeff Fisher pick. Also you are correct, Floyd didn't want VY, neither did Fisher... bud wanted him

Floyd wasn't given the control he needed to run this franchise the way he envisioned it. I think he deserves another chance. He's better than Reinfeldt.

    This.

Free agency is our main area of concern. We never bring in a guy who's going to help us improve. We need game changers.

There are going to plenty of free agent wide receivers this offseason. Most of them will re-sign with their current teams, but we will have a shot at a big name receiver, and we've got to do everything we can to bring one in.

    2012 free agent wide receivers:

    Dwayne Bowe
    DeSean Jackson
    Marques Colston
    Vincent Jackson
    Stevie Johnson
    Wes Welker
    Reggie Wayne
    Brandon Lloyd
    Robert Meachem
    Mario Manningham
    Pierre Garcon

I think Bowe, D-Jackson, Colston, and Wayne will end up with new teams. I'd prefer Bowe over all, but I'd be happy with just about any of them.

What is the % of big name FA WR making a legitimate diff with their new teams over that past decade? It's pretty low.
Get these kids in the draft - the right kids.

Meachem and Bowe are the only two we even have a remote shot at getting

These are guys that were all acquired through trades, but there's no difference really.

    Anquan Boldin
    Santonio Holmes
    Wes Welker
    Randy Moss (to Patriots)

That's just within the past few years.

You can't honestly tell me you'd pass up on bringing Dwayne Bowe here if we have a chance.

Travis Henry was a good pick-up.

1,100 yards that one season right? Chris Brown, the running back, looked like a good draft pick until he got perpetual turf toe
