Yes he was. On 2nd and 25 he (read: the coaching staff) calls a prevent defence, rushing only our 4 DL who at this point in the game were getting gassed (and injured). To me it's a no brainer that it would put our DB's in a really tough position.

Fisherball is 100% the reason we lost this game. Vince young was having a MONSTER game and up by a whipping four points we do the predictable run up the gut 3 times in a row and punt it away, therefore giving the other team the opportunity to make a comeback. The teams that win in this league never stop trying to score points and they put the game away any possible way they can. Denver had NO answer to the Titans' offense until they switched to the down syndrome playbook. I'm a fisher fan, but he needs to get with the times and stop trying to keep games close.

He needs to get over his hatred for Vince, like Sanders always said he's saved his job twice. All Denver did in the titan's final drive before the hail mary attempts was queue on the run, because teams know that's all we do when we're up.

    Threw away a game. (Again)

So the ability to run time off the clock is why we lost so why didn't we keep passing like we had before and it had worked pretty well? It wasn't a scoring drive every time but we were moving the chains and the clock was moving. Why would he think we could run it and get first downs when CJ was getting nothing on the ground?

Missed FG was not fisher's fault that was Bironas. After that we were in excellent position to win and then fisherball began and the following plays that you're talking about happened after Fisher already pretty much gave up on the game.

The Run-Pass ratio isn't what people are complaining about, it's what was called and when. The run wasn't working, it hadn't been working, and they completely abandoned the very effective passing game after making a big red zone stop and gave them the ball right back. What if they go back to passing and drive the ball down the field for a touch or at least a FG? Then we're at the very least watching overtime right now. Use your head.

CJ wasn't getting sh** on the ground all freaking day (2.8 ypc). To just continually run him up the middle expecting to run out the clock is misguided at best and flat out retarded at worst.

My dream would be to Have Rusty Smith as our starter next season with Vy as the BACKUP. And have a new Younger coach who is up to speed with todays NFL and a new playbook.

OK you've pointed out 3 negative things, where Fisher had no influence. Now point out 3 positive things where Fisher DID have an influence.

I watched the game, and am "using my head". As I mentioned in my earlier post (did you read it, BTW?), what I saw was the Bronco Defense living in our backfield for the whole 4th quarter. When that happens it really does not matter what you call, you are not going to move the ball. I saw Ringer get stuffed for a loss on a play that, had it been a PA pass, would have resulted in VY getting sacked. That is NOT coaching, that is poor O line play.
