Toronto... being such a design fan, you should understand why black IS intimidating. It always has been. Always will be.

Dark is scary. Subconsciously. Think Darth Vader would look badass in baby-blue? How about this car:

You know, if you're a designer that colors affect your mood. Black jerseys do something to players. It may sound silly to someone that doesn't understand the psychology of design, but it does. Black makes you feel bold. It makes you look bold. There's a reason why vilains in film are always in dark colors/blacks. Yes, it looks more intimidating.

As for claiming that black is boring?... Depends on your style. I love color, but black always looks far more SLEEK than any other. This is why this:

Is a much better look than...

It's why the Nets look better than the warriors. It's why the Raiders look better than the Broncos. Etc etc etc... boring? Sure. A better look in clothing that's actually timeless instead of trendy? Yes.

With that said, I don't want us to do the all black or incorporate black in to our uniforms- just because everyone else is doing it. But you're going the wrong way about your argument.

I'll stop you right there and disprove that stupid point once again by saying that the Jaguars are the only NFL team that wears all black. There's no magic psychology that makes teams tougher or better when they wear black. Teams can wear any color and it won't affect whether they win. Football talent and coaching determines who wins. All the color black does is determine who looks boring.

And since some of you are not reading what I'm saying, or perhaps I haven't been clear enough, I will make it very clear that I have no problem with a navy jersey that uses light blue as a secondary color. I agree that this looks really good. Nice balance:

I also think a light blue jersey that uses navy as an accent can look just as good.

I think the darker jerz with the baby blue accents is the best look.

And the jags are not even close to being the only team that wears all black. The saints do it far more often actually.

Jags are the only team that wears black helmets, jerseys and pants regularly.

Ravens do it from time to time.

Saints never have due to gold helmets.

If the majority of the uniform is black.... I'm considering the, with the black crowd. And the jags helmet is mad dark green color. Not black. Unless they've since changed it

Not nickpicking anything. I've been clear all along in saying that the Jags are the only all-black team. It's not even something that can be argued -- look at the uniform style sheets.

And I think you're missing the overall point anyhow, which is that it doesn't matter.
