from the article posted in the other thread...

"That plan, from all indications, is for the team to remain in the Adams family with interest split among his daughters, Susie Smith and Amy Strunk, and their families, as well as the surviving members of his late son Kenneth Adams III’s family.

That’s where Adams’ grandson, Kenneth Adams IV, comes into the picture. While Adams’ daughters’ families apparently have no interest in running the Titans – son-in-law Tommy Smith apparently declined an opportunity to come to Nashville and run the team several years ago – Kenneth Adams has been working for the Titans in Nashville since graduating from the University of the South in 2006."

Daughters and grandson (from his deceased son) take ownership. Daughters have no interest in running the team. Grandson is the heir apparent to take over.

According to article he made sure that they would not need to sell the team in order to pay estate taxes.

    Thanks for the insight.

If this sad news is indeed true, at least the team will be ran by his grandson that has expressed interest in doing so.

But does anyone else find it kind of weird that Bud seemed to have offered the position to his son-in-law before his own grandson? Hopefully the grandson was too young at that point, and not because Bud deemed him incompetent..

Man, the idea of the grandson taking over makes me a bit uneasy. Do we have any evidence he's ready to run a billion-dollar entity?
