Bud Adams on 2009 Season

BA has been as good an owner as I could have hoped for. Local media was in love with Yankee Fatboy Leopold - who sold team to a shister and bought another before the ink was dry. They still say good things about him even though he just used Nashville IMO

Will admit that he did bankroll a shot at the cup the year they picked up Forsberg. I'll give him that much, but his business dealings were dodgey IMO

When a team has the best record in the nfl, is the top seed for the playoffs and can't win a playoff game that is very frustrating. It's like we wasted the good luck we had with injuries and other things to be 13-2 in the regular season games that matter.

This is the only time we had home field locked up before the last game.

Now to be positive we could have a lesser record next year and still go on to win it. In 04 the steelers were 15-1 and lost in the afc championship at home but won it all the following year as a wild card.

In 2005 the colts were 15-1 and blew it in the playoffs but came back next year and won it all including 2 road playoff wins.

So you don't have to have that near perfect regular season to win it just be at your best when it matters most.

 

It was a good year for us. I think we gained something from being the favorite and failing. We're long overdue to win a playoff game, but I could see us making a good run this season. We may not be the first seed in the AFC again, but I could see us being a 2-5 seed and actually winning a game or two. I don't think it's a stretch. With as many players in contract years as we have, we're going to have a motivated, fighting team. This year could be our best shot in a long time.

 

It's those f***ing Ravens.

They screw us when we are the best.
