I see Fish getting something in the 5yr 30-35mil range...

 

I don't care how much money he gets, it doesn't count against the salary cap.
If we don't make the playoffs this year, he should be fired.

 

And replaced with who?

Schwartz? Norv Turner?, Tom Coughlin?, Marty Schottenheimer?, Denny Green?, Joe Gibbs?

If there are better candidates out there, I don't have a problem with punting Fisher if the team doesn't perform this year, but last year the Giants had to hold onto Coughlin because there was no-one better to replace him with, and I'd hate to make a desperate hire because we fired Fisher.

 

That is the whole point.

Coaches should not be put on the revolving door. It takes more than good coaching to win. It takes talented players and proper execution, as well as a little luck.

Playing scapegoat with one of the very best coaches in the game seems like a foolish move.
