He was always one of the highest pro bowl vote getters among the fans. Among the players and coaches votes is what stopped him from being in more PBs.

And his playing style is why he won't be regarded as a great outside of TN.

He wasn't a pass rusher, but a good tackler and great in coverage. History loves linebackers like LT who have great sack numbers.

But I do remember him getting a lot of credit, and the Mr. Monday Night name applied to him. He was a very solid linebacker. Unfortunately he was here in a dark, dark era at the very end of his career.

He didn't get near the credit though. Guy lead LBs in tackles constantly... and crickets heard nationally.

Was probably the best MLB in the game for at least a few years. Never got that credit though.

    OLB, yeah.
Cause of the market, I think. Titans don't have many fans compared to many franchises. ESPN spending time talking about the Titans is essentially time wasted. Steelers fans want to hear about the Steelers and will tune in. The relatively few hardcore Titans fans are a very very small chunk of NFL fans. So players get the short end of the stick.

Gonna assume this is a typo, but Bulluck didn't play MLB.

Yeah, 3 hrs of sleep post-birthday celebration...

Guess I was thinking of his stint with the Giants.

To me Bulluck ranks up there with Steve McNair and Eddie George as one of the greatest Titans players.

Thanks for all the good memories Keith!

Schwartzie misused him. When he was allowed beyond the LoS he was a disruptive force. Schwartzie had him guarding air 4 plays out of 5

And his bitterness at the end in Nashville will not be forgotten. What a whiney biotch! Regardless he was a good OLB
