Obviously 6-7 round picks aren't going to have a great track record of making teams but also consider the fact that if you are drafting well in the early rounds each year and also supplementing your roster with FA signings it becomes a numbers game and there just isn't room for those guys on the roster. If we have more drafts with guys like Harper in the 3-5 rounds we probably will have more guys in the 6-7 rounds make the team.

Some of those guys are heading for our practice squad.

If you want to look at bad drafting, look at the Patriots in the recent years. Especially DBs.

I'm sure every team has a decent amount of late round picks cut so I doubt this is a big deal. Also, Wooten and Soloman are most likely going to end on the practice squad so I doubt they are done developing them.

The Harper pick is the only bad one out of that list as I personally believe you fill your depth in the 4th and 5th rounds.

This is true. I'm just making a point that we havnt had amazing drafts like some would be lead to think. Mccrutches is one of those mid round picks that may never play a full season. Klug as well and he's constantly on the bubble. Just sayin.

Basically we've failed at late round projects lately. Campbell is a nobody. Thompson is in his third year and has become a great blocker... So I can't really complain.

Klug is a beast dude what are you smoking. He is an awesome nickle pass rush guy that we were not able to use because we were contently in 3rd and shorts last year and had to play run defense. Klug has never been n the bubble.

Campbell may be starting for us (which is bad) but would be fine as a forth guy on our depth chart.

Also, Thompson is only on his 2nd year.

Then why did we try to convert him to DE?

You're right. Idk why I thought he'd been around a year longer.

We bounced him to defensive end to get better at defensive end depth and try and find more snaps of him to play. Notice how he is still bouncing inside on nickle situations because he is probably our best interior pass rusher; he however does not have the size to play defensive tackle for us consistently.
