Tennessean just said the agent has been talking to the titans, but no visit has been set up.

    This is simple.

    SIGN HIM!

    He's a former 1st round pick, he's got a ton of potential...nuff said.

He could shine in TN cause he wouldnt be playing behind the shadow of Larry Fitzgerald. Im just wondering why no one has picked him up yet. he may be asking to much. Bills, Bucs or Seahawks im sure would love to have him. those teams seem to have the same needs as the Titans.

Every player in the NFL wants money and to be a starter. It's a little more than that and since he has yet to be signed there must be some deal with him that isn't yet known.

ahhhh this topic is driving me crazy, just sign him already. we bring in johnson and then draft a wr in the 3rd or 4th round instead of the 1st or 2nd. Cmon its a no brainer, bring in Eugene Wilson and Bryant through FA. Then close it down and bring everyone else in via Draft

i love the "just sign him already" statments. If he is wanting Fitzgerald/Moss money should we sign him? When you say "just sign him" please let us know what kind of conract you want first, then we'll listen.

He's good and probably wants to be paid more than 6 million dollars.
Translation: don't get your hopes up.

I suspect you may be right Gloat, why else would he still be on the market?

There must be because the way teams are overpaying for players it seems like Johnson would have been off the market already. I think the Titans are one of the few teams that can offer the money he wants AND a starting position.

We're going to have to 'overpay' someone. Because not only is it not 'overpaying' anymore, but because at this rate, unless we somehow get 3 first round picks, we're going to once again have cap money that goes unused.
