:cj: has not been a total liability over the last month unlike the previous 20+ games since holding out and signing a CAP stupid contract.

I'm also a 3HL listener. And I blame them along with the rest of the Nashville media for the unrealistic and ridiculous expectations that have been placed on CJ. And before the haters go "fanboy" on me, let me throw some numbers at you. The number I hear thrown out most for what CJ should be doing yearly is 1500. Chew on this. The standard for backs around here is Eddie George. If my memory serves me correctly, the second contract he signed was pretty hefty and he only had one 1500 yard season in his career. The standard for backs now is Adrian Peterson, who BTW makes more money than CJ. Well as great is AD is, he's only had one season above 1500 and like George, has been around 1200-1300 yards a season. Now for those who say 1000 yards is meaningless because of the 16 game schedule I have a couple numbers for you. 1143 in a 16 game season is equal to getting 1000 yards in a 14 game season. And outside of last year, CJ has reached that in all his seasons. For those really old skool cats that talk about what Jim Brown did in 12 game seasons. 1333 yards in a 16 game season is equal to getting 1000 in a 12 game season. CJ has done that twice in his career, most likely would have reached it had he not sat out the final game of his rookie season, and is nearly on pace to reach this season. So I'm sorry, I just don't see how people are so upset at his production and want him outta town so badly. And for those claiming he's done what he's done against bad defenses and in garbage time, please, just stop. He put up 142 against the Texans and 91 against the Steelers. And little to none of that was done in garbage time. So as I've said before. If you don't particularly like CJ's style, fine. Honestly, I prefer the three yards and a cloud of dust 27 brought us for years. But please don't try and crap on CJ's production. Because the numbers indicate he's doing a helluva job.

If you have a problem with the Titans' short yardage production this season, your venom needs to be aimed at #23, not the "little guy.". Because Harper has replaced the "little guy" as the Titans' short yardage back this season. Do you even watch the games?

:cj: got stoned on second and 1 and promptly got stoned on third and 1 the following play (I honestly cant recall if it was against the ponie or the bears but it was early in the game and at home)

third and anything was a passing down since

BTW you are an idiot if you think I dont watch the games. I gurantee Ive seen more Tennessee NFL football live and on TV than you have. But keep showing your ignorance

psst - when was the last time Harper even got a carry??? exactly

I attend 4-5 games yearly and outside of preseason, wk 17 games when they're resting starters, and games when they were eliminated from playoff contention, I haven't missed a titans game since they been here. So I'm plenty qualified to talk Titans football.

BTW, you get on here bitching daily about 190lb back, who has proven to be one of the best home run hitter's in NFL history, gets 1300 yards a year, and averages close to 5 yards per for his career's ability to get a yard on third down. That my friend is the very definition of IGNORANCE!!!

Oh yeah, Eddie George sucked due to his lack of producing 80 yard TD plays. STUPID!!!
