Cam Newton is going off on the Cardinals

If he wanted a degree why didn't he stay and get it instead of committing to an employer that paid him more than he'd EVER get in a lifetime with whatever social degree he was/is working towards.

He started college in 2002 and has yet to get that degree.

2 white fellows that people have been"hated" on since they entered the draft. both have the skills but picked on for other more personal reasons. why not whine and cry for them, is it the color of their skin that prevents you from defending them?
its pretty obvious you make it a point to run to the defense of black qb's. you only see color and its YOUR parents fault.... i only hope the cycle will be broken some day

Ryan Leaf looked good his first two games in the NFL. Just sayin

 

Let's use an example.

XO is a Newton hater. He commented that while the stats are good they don't matter because Cam lost his team the game. "Look at the game" he said.

So he ignores the 2 Tds passes and the TD run. He ignores the fact that Newton got his team in scoring position. He ignores a punt return for a Td by the other team and 2 free Tds the cards got because the Panthers forgot to cover somebody. In his narrow mind Cam is responsible.

That is like bashing Mcnair for losing the super bowl. Never mind the Td pass the defense gave up or Mcnair's almost super human efforts to get the team inside the 10. Just look at the play that came a yard short.

That's not logical thinking that is just being a hater.

People say it is just one game and so it is but you don't even want to give him credit for that. In the meantime a certain Pittsburgh QB took an extra large dump on the field in Baltimore and i assure you that if Newton had a game like that with 5 turnovers you would all say that it means something.

 

You'd have to banish RT there to accomplish the above goal.

 

Ryan Leaf's passing rating in his first 2 games was 54 and 78 respectively. How does that compare to a record breaking 110 rating for Newton yesterday? Just saying.

Seriously watch the tape. It was a good performance by Cam. Better than I would have ever thought honestly, but there is a story behind the numbers.

Deuce is absolutely correct. Seriously.... he is.

Arizona was letting receivers run open in that secondary. It was embarrassing.

Carolina's receivers were making some nice adjustments to bring in some of those balls.

I give credit where it is due.
Cam is awesome at hitting receivers running wide open down feild.
Cam is also great at dumping it down to a TE when he totally confused by the zone coverage.

TIL there is hope for Newton. Carolina has installed an offense that he can work with rather than forcing him to fit their system.

Carolina is not trying to put a square peg in a round hole and Cam will be better for it.


It was one game. Carolina gets the Packers next week. Reality checks sometimes come a week late.
