Brian Cushing's opinion only matters if somebody asks him about the best steroids to use

We'd first have to establish who the best defensive player ever is. Who would that be? It'd have to be someone who would dominate every era of football. I'd probably say Lawrence Taylor. He changed the way the game was played.

Will Watt change the game the way Taylor did? He might already be doing that, but a great season does not make a career.

I'm ready to see him up against Warpath and Levitre. I want to see him pancaked everytime he jumps with 300+ pounds of love.

He's a good player, but best defensive player ever?? No.

Haynesworth in '08 had a better season than Watt did last year.

People were saying the same thing about Kearse after his rookie season. Let's back off a little here.

Either him or Reggie White. One of the two

I agree. Easily the two best of all time. Ronnie Lott slides in at third.

If Watt keeps playing at this ridiculously high level for an extended period of time he might get his name in the mix with guys like Reggie White. But he has a long way to go yet.
