Can RROD be fixed?

The 360 is not compatible with PC HDDs like the PS3. It can only be used with a first party HDD design for the 360 - the 120gb HDD is priced over $100. So if you were to get a Pro console and then decide to upgrade the HDD... it would be actually cheaper to get an Elite. There's also an 20gb HDD priced at around $50, which you could use for the arcade as well. But then again, if you add another $50, you could get the Pro console with a 60gb HDD.

As for the membreship thing, the Gold allows for multiplayer gaming and I think they get demos and videos a week earlier than the Silver.
