In hindsight this has been a rather weak 1st round draft so who would you have taken at 15 or wherever we traded back, because the trade is what moved the team to #8? The other thing let's go with your theory and say the two players are close, it's also very likely you screw up the chemistry of the offensive as players on the OL are not always swapable. Who's to say Decker had the personality Conklin does that help form the identity of this unit as a grind it out unit (a major reason we drafted him). The mindset change has been huge and probably a major factor in the 4-4 record. Just say....

I am just curious, were you saying this before the draft? Of course it is easy to use 20/20 hindsight to say who anyone should have or should not have drafted. After we made the trade were you saying to draft Decker?
