Cards distancing themselves from Fitzgerald

Question is ... does our QB know how to use him?

 

Michael Floyd is good.

 

Yeah I know. I was always a big Moss fan and was dying for us to sign him. I remember the know-it-alls here saying "no way in hell we'll go after him" etc.

I was so excited when that first video of him walking into BSP with Fisher came out. I couldn't even begin to imagine the disappointment I was in for.

 

My hunch is: Fitzgerald makes $$$ ... but no real long term answer for a QB to get him the ball (unless they signed someone I am not aware of ... I don't pay that close of attn to the Cards). Why pay a WR big $$ when you don't have your QB situation straight.

That money would be much better spent else where

 

Youre right, can't wait for this to all come together, let AZ play their star CB at WR again..

 

They did invest a 4th in Logan Thomas, so maybe he becomes their QB of the future. But I just dont know if we'll have Fitz type money in a year. We have Casey and Wright and hopefully Locker, thats a lot of moolah.

 

JCB, im sure that if Locker pans out this year and excels in Whiz's Offense; then he will structure his contract so Fitz can come here, if Fitz wanted too he is a stand up guy like that; as much as some of the people on this forum don't think he is...

Fitz's most electric years came with whiz as coach, heck even when the QB circus was happening he still was getting 1000 yd. seasons and 6+ TD's could you imagine Fitz, Hunter, and Wright with this O-Line and RB core... OMG that would be nasty Brady Quinn could take you to the playoffs with that lol I mean LIH

 

We got him on my birthday that year. Felt like I won the lottery.

Man. It still kind of hurts.

 

I came pretty close to buying a Moss jersey, but then I realized he had nobody to throw to him.

 

Fitz here would be dirty. Doubt it happens though. I will be curious to see who replaces Washington though, and I'm a big fan of his.
