Carlos Dunlap update..

So he has as many sacks as Dave Ball. Great....

 

I loved this dude football skill.. hated his attitude and that he went to Flordia..

 

The Bengals were criticized for taking another bad character guy at 54. Did you want to Titans to trade for him or take him at 16?

 

I wanted Devin McCourty and a DE in the 3rd round.

Devin & Jason on the same team.. saweet!

 

Dunlap never made sense for the Titans. The team needed a DE badly and 16 was way too high to be taking Dunlap. Waiting and then taking Dunlap in the 2nd or 3rd was too risky and probably would have involved trading up in those rounds to make sure that the Titans got him. That just wasn't an option for a guy with so many major question marks (many of which still remain).

 

I'm still pretty happy with Morgan. Yea he got hurt, but the limited action he did see, he looked really really good. I just pray he's not like others and is constantly hurt. Nothing irritates me more than a guy who's always hurt. (Vince, I'm looking your way buddy)

 

I feel pretty real good about not having Carlos dunlap
