No it wasn't too high because the guy is such a freak. Your logic really worked for us in 98 when we passed on Moss for a lessor player in Dyson. Moss had bigger character concerns than Dunlap had.

Dunlap makes perfect sense for the system we play. He could line up anywhere on the defensive line in our system.

What people don't understand about Carlos Dunlap is that all his life he has been able to dominate without much effort. He never has been dedicated in the weight room.

Many saw that as a negative but i thought it suggested a potential to get much better. Now he is playing for $$$$ in the nfl where they have year round strength training and he doesn't have to attend classes he can just work at football. He is just 21 years old and can only get stronger and maybe even bigger.

When i saw him run a 4.61 on that wet field on his pro day i was sold. Too much athlete to pass up.

We need to see a full season (or two) from Morgan before we can say the Titans should have taken anyone else.

No. 31 teams might be beginning to realize that they made a mistake but there are only 32 teams in the league and one of them probably feels pretty great that they were able to grab him in the second.

    Of course..

The Bengals had no need for another 4-3 end. They had 2 good ones who played well last year in Odom and Geathers and they drafted Michael Johnson last year. Now Johnson is playing a lot with Odom out on the right side and looks like a bust(1.5 sacks). Dunlap finally gets a chance to play and he looks like Julius Peppers.
