Hmmmm. I don't know about someone calling him an elite kick returner. he has never had a kick or punt return for a TD. 201 kick returns and no TD. 77 punt returns and no TD. His averages are average. He does seem to be consistent which is good. Chris Henry had 7 of his 13 KRs for over 20 yards, two over 40 yards. Carr had 40 of his 59 KRs for over 20 yards but only 2 (are you kidding me?) for over 40 yards. In conclusion this "elite" KR only had 2 KRs over 40 yards in 59 attempts and blind Chris Henry had that many on only 13 returns. I'm not real excited and this kid better show something in the pre-season as a CB or S or he should be cut.

Most total returns and total yards returned is an indicator that he went unchallenged at Oakland. Who knows what that means but his return average is good.

I didn't see exactly what we are paying for him so I have no idea of the value. We have signed some solid ST players, so we should see Carr put up some decent numbers here.

Unlike Pac, Carr actually wants to be a Titan. Welcome aboard Chris. Here's wishing for many happy returns.

I'd rather have a guy who consistently gets 25 yards then a guy who gets you two td's throughout the year but a lot of the time you're starting inside your own 15. I don't think there's anyway he gets cut considering we signed him from another team and then who will return kicks. Chris henry will be the 2nd rb this year so there's no way we'll have him returning kicks.

I guess you wouldn't want Hester on our team then. The bottom line is Carr isn't good enough as a KR IMO to make the team based on that alone. His average isn't all that great, he hasn't returned any for TDs so what is there about the guy except he doesn't seem to fumble as much as Chris Davis? I want a guy who can get the ball out to the 20 consistently and occasionally take one to the house.
