Channel 2 News, Titans selling tickets

I have to admit...that is pretty funny!...

 

I wonder how many other people have had this happen to them - I had to sell extra tickets we accidentally got through Ticketmaster... it was the 2002 playoff game against the Steelers, and it's so hard to get through online that we had 4 people trying over and over to reserve them. The plan was that once someone had seats reserved they would tell everyone else - to make sure we had the best seats and we didn't buy double.

That didn't work out... 1 of my wife's co-workers not only went ahead and bought the tickets without letting us know, but he bought too many. So I was able to get tickets, and he got them as well - we wound up with 4 extra. I put 2 up on ebay and some (surprisingly nice) Steelers fans bought them. We had to dump the others on scalpers on game day.

 

Yes, there are 340 listings for tickets there, so if the average listing is 2 tickets or more they have close to a 1000 seats for sale. But it doesn't seem to be newsworthty for the Pittsburgh media...:wink2:
