May not be a popular opinion on here, but these sites that show PPV for free are and should be illegal.

Yep. Too bad there's almost no way to regulate it. For every one site they shut down ten more start and go unpunished. I usually Watch Entourage online because I don't have HBO, but I use Netflix instant stream on my PS3 for pretty much everything else.

The government will always be a step or two behind technology. I remember one of the judges on the Superior Court asking "What's the difference between an e-mail and a text?"

 

Sorry. I think charging someone 60 bucks for an event that might last 10 minutes is more wrong than someone streaming it.

 

Most people don't even buy fights anymore. Everyone I know goes to a bar and watches on the tvs there. A $60+ event turned into a maybe a third of that for most now.

 

The handful of these things I give a crap about, the occasional UFC fight, I just wait till Spike shows it even though I know the outcome.

 

So what's different about a sports bar ordering 1 event for 60 bucks that everyone can see than a guy ordering it and streaming it online for people to see?

So much gray-area with these topics.

 

None, really. Technology just scares people.

I think boxing/MMA needs to be on network tv anyway.
