SUMMARY: In one of the most lopsided defeats in franchise history, the Tennessee Titans lost to the San Diego Chargers 40-7. The Chargers defense dominated the game as the Titans were only able to generate 15 yards of offense on 19 plays in the first half. The Titans advanced into Chargers territory only twice during the game. The first time wasn't until late in the third quarter, when they got to the 45 before Chargers CB Quentin Jammer interception ended another drive. "Obviously, I'm not pleased that we have a long way to go and it will be tough," Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher said. Titans QB Kerry Collins had a passer rating of 1.3 as Tennessee RBs combined for a total of 31 yards rushing. The Titans were 2-for-12 on third downs as they gained a total of 218 net yards in the game.

Lets just face it every year there are teams in the NFL that suck, we happen to be one of those teams this year and have been for a few seasons now. Hopefully, we can get a clue sometime soon and turn things around.

Embarrassing. Miami is next. Still think we can beat the 11.5 point spread?

I posted here when Collins was signed that they were doing what they believed would give the team the best chance to win. While this may have been what the Titans thought it was a giant mistake,Volek could not play any worse and that had to be apprent at practice. The only decesion that could be worse would be to let Collins continue to play. If we don't want to throw VY in start Volek cut Collins and get Mauck back, he can't be worse than Collins. Miami hasn't shown any offense in the 1st 2 games we might have a chance this week with decent QB play. If the defense is not on the field for nearly the entire game they may be able to keep it close.
