When the Titans signed defensive tackle Stefan Charles, they gave him the highest signing bonus of all the undrafted free agents. Charles, a Canadian, received a $15,000 bonus.

The amount of the signing bonus for an undrafted free agent gives an indication of the competition for the player after the draft. The best prospects usually get paid the most, though the bonuses usually aren’t significant.

Behind Charles, the undrafted free agents who received the biggest bonuses with the Titans: Tight end Jack Doyle ($5,000), guard Oscar Johnson ($5,000), cornerback George Baker ($2,500), receiver Travis Harvey ($2,000), linebacker Jonathan Willard ($2,000) and cornerback Matthew Pierce ($2,000).

LOL. You're a far better athlete than me if you can even think about making it through a week of training camp. I think I'd die.

I looked him up and he looked legit. He's a big guy and had good stats. He's tall and batted some balls down.

Sh*t.... I'd make it through training camp. The coaches screaming at me, on the other hand... may all get brain aneurisms and keel over from stress.

You make a few grand, you get to pursue your dream, you can steal Chris Johnson's stuff and sell it on eBay, you might get to play in a pre-season game, etc, etc, etc.

They should actually try that and let one fan each year try out. Obviously there would need to be some sort of pre-qualfying so you don't get a 70 year old man, but someone in their 20's or 30's who could handle it physically would be pretty cool. You could even do it for every team and have some sort of Hard Knocks type of show about it.
