Cheap flights?

why so many people drink ginger ale while traveling also.

 

I had a GF whose sister had cervical cancer and took ginger all the way though chemo. She only threw up once.

Peppermint is good too, especially peppermint tea.

IDK this to be true but Ive heard booking a flight on Tuesdays are somehow cheaper

is your daughter old enough to fly alone? I was 14 my first time flying alone, its wasnt too bad

 

He said she is 6, so not flying by herself.

The biggest issue here is that you're trying to fly back the same day, that alone from one side of the country to the other is difficult to schedule even for someone who flies frequently. might be worth it to find a package deal for a hotel for a night and fly out the next day. With how many cancelations and delays I have regularly you will be exhausted by the time you pick up your daughter and if any BS happens to your last flights you'll be really feeling it.

Staying one night and finding an early flight the next day would be a very smart thing to do, if you have to work the next day I'd try my hardest to get it off.

I have coworkers that fly to CA from TN all the time, and by the time they get to CA they are completely exhausted. It might sound like a short time in the air, but all the time of getting to the airport going through security, dealing with any cancelations or delays and transportation to and from the airport is an absolute headache.
