    I gotta disagree with River on Cheap Trick being unoriginal though.. Though they copped off The Beatles for certain melodies, the rest of their sound was all their own. Brilliant first record.. they just don't top The Ramones

    Yeah, that was a shame.....they went through that period in the 80's where they were trying to get back on top and stopped writing their own stuff. It worked for the charts but hurt their rep. If you get a chance to see them live, do it. Even tough they are in their 50's now, they still put on a high energy gig. Last year they blew away Journey at the Sommet Center.

    I've seen CT no less than 30 times and my only beef with their current show is that they ignore so many of the older tunes.. Fortunately they filmed that Silver Anniversary concert and played all the great old stuff. Worth the dollars for any CT fan

    BTW The Creeping Cruds will be playing a RAMONES tribute set at The Rutledge Nashville in July.. They asked us to play a 45 minute set, which is 15 minutes longer than The Ramones ever played!
