also, I think Chipotle sucks compared to the other local ones, and I hate the fact they're taking away from other, better places like Qdoba and Hot Head burritos.

Don't like Moe's either, but I don't resent them like Chipotle.

There is nothing about Chipotle, (from the 3-4 times I've eaten there) that I would say is superior to Qdoba or Hot Head. Qdoba is king. They are generous with toppings, free guac, queso, grilled veggies, everything. their restaurant is nicer, and the people are friendlier than the local Chipotle.

Chipotle 1/10... hope they all close. Especially ironic considering they claimed to take the high road with the ingredients, and they were poison.

The market is oversaturated with these places, and they just made themselves disposable. Goodbye Chipotle. Gone the way of Michael Griffin.

They did take the high road in regard to using fresh, nonGMO etc.
That deal with the ecoli can (and has) hit any one of these other places. If you use tomatoes, lettuces, scallions etc at some point you are going to come back positive for ecoli.
The problem with Chipotle for me was it just was not a great tasting food.
Qdoba is equally lame in my book and no different than Moes.
I do like Guac though - but be prepared to pay sit down prices..

yeah, If Chipotle actually was good, I wouldn't be so against it. But people ranted and raved about it, then it came to town.. and it wasn't any better than what we already have.. costs more, and has less choices, and the seating in there was not comfortable or convenient.. not enough seating. Honestly, it's on par with moe's (edible but I won't go there by choice) but the hype surrounding it made it more disappointing.

QD has the edge because of the aforementioned reasons, and they have a good variety of sauces and flavors, and they make it interesting by changing them up by season.

no local burrito joints around here. only real Mexican places, and that's way different.

Oscar's Tacos is locally owned but I am starting to see them everywhere.
Great stuff too. Maybe they will start working their way up 65 to other states.
