Chris Davis re-signed today

    Why did they release him anyways? Releasing a player because of a drunk driving charge is pretty unloyal, but there isnt much loyalty in this league anyways.

    yeah i agree we should have tried to get chambers. we need veteran receivers to go with our relative youth at the position

    Titans are no different than most teams in that regard. ponies cut that DT a couple of times for off field infractions. Of course the Titans are no different in that the level of off field infraction that requires being cut is proportional to the precieved talent the player has.

    And Williams is not the first player cut because of DUI. Don't remember the guys name but there was one rookie who got a DUI while in his first TC for cryin' out loud.

    Actually Chris was making strides. He looked good in preseason also and if it wasn't for the dui prob would have made the team'

    Chris Davis who?? Who cares if he got resigned? I have never heard of the guy. He obviously did nothing the first time he was here.

    He's done more for us than most of our WRs. He's got potential. I think he should've played more last season. I'm glad to see him get a second chance.

    Davis was a wide receiver here in Tallahassee at FSU. He was pretty good here, and could really make some tough catches. I hope he does well his second time around.
