All appealing does is slow down the process. We all know he will have to do the time....so I think he should do it and get it over with...I am not optimistic about CB and LW both being healthy enough to finish the season(especially CB) and with the Titans having an opportunity to make the playoffs I rather have Chris available to help us make the run at the end of the year instead of being suspended toward the end of the year.

bunk on that. he has a chance of winning this. everyone seems to think it's total bs... and even though he shouldn't, Goodell may take it easy on account of the hardcore approach on Pacman who clearly has demonstrated serious character issues... what I mean is, if we are lucky he may feel that he has punished the Titans enough. Besides, the players union should back Henry 100% and it is after all it is a recent rule change and he is a rookie so maybe he'll catch a break. Kind of like when they throw a 1st time bs speeding ticket out of court for a teenager... you know.. saying some kind of crap about thier parents should handle it... seeing as they pay for the car insurance and all.. it's kind of a dumb analogy I know but Goodell does play judge and jury in this instance. I say fight the system because the system failed him! :ha:

I think I'd rather he appeal and not miss any games. If it was really Sudafed approved and prescribed to him by a team doctor, knowing full well it gave him no competitive advantage whatsoever, it's automatic. You must acquit.

I doubt he'll win an appeal. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing so. It opens the door to anyone using ignorance as an excuse and the NFL can't play that way.

    He's buying a week because Brown isn't 100%.

I'd rather have him this week if Brown isn't fully ready. We need everything we can possibly pull out against the jags defense. He can start the suspension in the next few weeks when Chris is ready to be back. Four weeks is a long time, I don't want Lendale to not have help.

I think it opens the pandora box, and the nfl won't do that. I agree with Jeff. They won't let this go unpunished.

Heck, even at the possibility that it could be reduced to two games, it's worth a shot. We don't really know what happened, so it's hard to say if there's any sort of justification for it.
