Chris Henry should end the appeal

    Chief's Jared Allen got his 4 games (for repreated DUI arrests) reduced to 2 on appeal this year, so there's at least a chance for that. He may have a shot if (as it seems) the substance was Sudafed. I just read the official policy on banned substances, and Pseudoephedrine is the only substance that as an asterisk: "* Except as properly prescribed by Club medical personnel." If he really was prescribed it, then he may be able to show that it was properly prescribed.

    EDIT: AFAIK Pseudoephedrine is the only substance that was added to the list this year... at least the only non performance-enhancing substance.

    That's good to know. A two game suspension wouldn't be nearly as bad.

    That is the way I see it. Henry is available this week against a divsion rival and Brown might not be 100% yet. Also, if by chance the appeal shaves off a game or two all the better. The appeal is the right decision.

    didnt Travis henry successfully appeal his suspension by saying it was secondhand smoke?

    no, he's just buying time with an appeal because he said the test was not done correctly or something like that.
