    The Wildcat is dead, until I see it effectively used this season and have meaningful impact. I hear some crazy sh might be developing in Buffalo though, with Chan Gailey picking up Brad Smith and using him as QB... something to keep a lookout for.

    Brad Smith was a very good QB at Mizzou...this would be more than the Dolphins' era wildcat I think. The guy has a cannon.

    Oh I totally agree. I've always liked Brad Smith. It will be interesting to see what Gailey has up his sleeve up there in Buffalo. I've even heard rumblings of the Pistol offense.

    The wildcat worked pretty well for the Dolphins.

    I'm sure Andy Reid will have some plays drawn up with both Vick & Young on the field this coming season.

    Yes, the Wildcat worked well for the Dolphins, but 2 things: 1. It didn't get them into the Playoffs, and 2. It was a surprise at that point. Teams have had time to analyze it on tape now and should know moreso how to defend it.

    What we need isn't a Wildcat, it's more creative screen pass type plays to CJ. We just need more creativity instead of CJ handoffs all the time and hoping for the best.
