    But was it?

How did Michigan go last year overall?

Michigan had a pretty good year, overall, finishing 9-4. The biggest highlight was beating Florida in the Citrus bowl, I thought. (One of Michigan's losses was to Oregon, fwiw)

Losing to Appalachian State is considered one of the biggest upsets in history though. It's the first time a Division 1-AA team beat a ranked Division 1-A team since college programs were divided that way in 1978. Michigan was ranked #5 at the time.

But only because of the name: Michigan. Like this - WVU is ranked #8, and lost to a team that isn't any better than App State. Mich was ranked #5 and lost to ASU, and you couldn't turn a tv on without hearing about it.

You are so deluded as to how good AppState is. How did they do against LSU?

ECU is a better team than AppState.

Bit of a difference. LSU already knew what kind of team ASU was. Michigan didn't. LSU went in thinking they COULDN't be upset. Michigan went in thinking they couldn't lose.

Les Miles just got revenge for Michigan. That's all.

ECU beaten two ranked teams, that's gotta say something for how good they are.
