Can't believe we're still on about CJ's paycheck.
    Good grief.

As long as he's making headlines with his statements it's going to continue to be discussed.

No reason this should be a "headline". It's about to be put up or shut up time - that's the headline.

All of us are 'underpaid'. If we don't like it- we find a new job.

Oh wait. He plays a game for millions... I doubt he'll find an easier OVERPAID paycheck.

Dude's starting to be a whiney biatch. He'd BETTER put up 2k and actually lead us to something important this year with his new diva act.

I hope he doesn't put up 2,000 yards. 358 touches a season is crazy.
1,200 yards is plenty. We must be more balanced offensively.

If he is running for 2,000 yards, we are probably another 8-8 team. Maybe 10 years ago you could, but you can't run your way to a superbowl in today's NFL.

We were not an 8-8 team because C.J's 2006-yard season was a distraction. We were an 8-8 team because putting the game on Kerry Collins was too much to handle, and because Vince grew up while C.J. hit his stride. C.J. was the lone bright spot during the 0-6 slide, and one of many bright spots during the 8-2 finish. He's only a plus. With Chris running the way he does he's allowed to run his mouth.

Just stop it already! The 0-6 start is highly debatable and far from being as matter of fact as you claim.

Collins played well enough to win against Pittsburgh, Houston and NYJ with missed FG's, TERRIBLE Secondary play and muffed punts being the catalysts for losing those 3 games. Bringing in VY a week earlier was not going to win that N.E. game and that is a matter of fact.

Also the 5 toughest games/teams we played all year were the NYJ, Indy(twice), NE and SD. It's no coincidence that neither Collins or Young led the Titans to a win in any of those 5 games.

    LOL

"With my situation, you have to know who you are dealing with at the end of the day," Johnson said. "You are dealing with a team that is not known for [paying].''

people are really responding 4 pages worth of nonsense to those 2 lines (which is just a factual statement)

Doubt hes a locker room distraction now, very doubtful he will be a problem when the real season starts. and He's guaranteed for 1500 yards.

so whats there to talk about?

I don't understand, yards are yards. What difference does it make how we get them? If he's scoring TDs then what's the problem?
