It's worth a try, the guy really seems to want to help, and he sought out the team to get the opportunity. I think we should create a new position for him if necessary, any option that could help should, and I'm sure will, be explored.

Not sure what that means, "not the only guy that will have tried to help pacman". In reality I'm not sure anyone has ever really been able to get close enough to Pacman that he really respected and who has had some similarities in their life. Sanders is a former player who was able to change his life. Sanders also speaks from experience when he talks about life after football and how important it is to have your priorities in order. Like Sanders said, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink but there is nothing wrong with trying to lead the horse. It is better than just hoping Pacman can work thorugh this IMO, he needs mentoring and friends who have the right priorities.

he may not be the only guy who would try to help Adam out, but he's come forward with a desire to, and as Soxcat said, Adam may be more likely to listen to someone who had almost the same situation and can show him what can happen.

Yeah, we've seen people try to step in and help Jones out,
problem is we dont' see Jones trying to reach out for any help.
