Ponder should not be the one to worry about, hes not that good. Hes a game manager. Peterson however may have 200 yards with the way weve been tackling. McCarthy coming back is big for us.

If healthy is a big if. He will be another china doll just like the Georgia grad who sometimes is under center for the Lions

I'll admit that I wanted Ponder over Locker... (obviously not at 8 though) :toast:

I still think we could of taken JJ Watt @ #8. Rumor has it Jags still would of taken Gabbert and Vikings would of taken Locker @ #12 over Ponder. Bengals loved Dalton and that was there guy. So Ponder would of fell to early 2nd. We then should of traded our 2012 1st for a 2011 2nd, and taken Christian Ponder.

Would you rather have Ponder and JJ Watt or Locker and Kendall Wright?

I think Ponder's ok. I still don't think he's done enough to be annointed as the QB of the draft.

Locker still has more upside and doesn't have adrian peterson.

If Ponder separates his shoulder this week, is he going to be considered injury prone(even though he already was in college)?

Yeah, pretty much a no-brainer there.

Ponder with our pass-blocking OL would have been quite serviceable. He's smart- takes what's given.

Talking about the NFL. Locker has been hurt both seasons and Ponder has played 2 years starting.

I think Ponder is already known to be injury prone. Which is the reason he fell so far.

That, and having to run for his life every snap at FSU didn't help him any. Guy was getting killed there.
