Mariota had 7 good games this season. A handful of bad games and a couple mediocre. Hopefully next season he can improve on how many good games he has and avoid injury.

 

I should also point out your convenient strategy of waiting until after today's game to point out that cassel's less than pedestrian numbers were slightly less garbage like than Mariota's against Houston.

that $40 million is peanuts in the QB world. Would you have been happier saving some "cap room" to lose a bunch more games with Cassel at the helm? The fact you even brought up the comparison in paycheck between Mariota and perennial cast off Cassel is ridiculous.

 

We can only hope he's not as fragile as some think. We have to keep Tanney at any cost.
