And... actually, due to our style of play- we'd be better off (game winning-wise) with a back that wasn't strictly a homerun hitter, but one that just moved the chains and controlled TOP.

And I'd love to see him run behind an offensive line like the one in Detroit, Oak, GB, Sea, Cincy, etc. It'd be nice if he could visit them for a game or 2 just to prove a point.

You guys are crazy talking. Your blind if you can't clearly see that CJ's on another level.

Of course our oline helps but he would still be well above average anywhere else. Very well rounded with breakaway speed? What else do we need? He and VY will feed off of each other next year.

When the time is right, before 2011 season (assuming something will happen), we need to sign him to a 3-5 year extension and pay him like one of the leagues elite RB's. Given he stays healthy until then.

I agree, we don't have elite wr's to be a home run threat, so cj is ours. Your nuts if you think we don't need him. Our defense isn't what it used to be, at least last year it wasn't first year we fell out of top 5 in rush d and top 10 in pass d in a while. So we need to score points. Our 13-3 season cj would have had 20 td's but we fed lendale little skittles running short yardage getting Jerome bettis stats. God I'm so happy that dude is gone. And alge, fumbling fools. That's another thing about cj, he RARELY fumbles...

If the 30% Rule means they can't pay him yet I'm assuming someone will explain this to Chris.

Sure. Good luck with that. While you're at it, why not dig a hole in The Three Gorges Dam with your teeth?

I'm pretty sure several will try to explain it to CJ, but I'm even more sure (nice language) that he won't get it.

C.J.'s agent shouldn't pitch the 2K-yard season as only a 2K-yard season, because Jesse is right about them not needing a 2K back. We may actually be better off with a back that moves the chains and eats up monster time of possession. No way I'd dump the guy tho, he's unbelievable. But he's a 150 YPG player. Not many players can basically guarantee you 150-yards or more a game, he does. That's what I'd be saying if I were his agent. I mean the dude is literally capable of being twice as good as the next guy. While most good RB's are gathering up 90-105 yards per game, C.J.'s over here having 200+ yard games on the regular. That's insane. I'd pay the dude. In half the touches, hes twice as productive.
Weeks 6-17 the man didn't go a game without monster numbers. He's Barry Sanders good. And only the Titans would blow it with him. Forget about the 0-6 start, and he'd be on track to break the single season rushing record by over 100-yards, and with 20 TD's. This upcoming season teams should be ready for a show.
