CJ a no-show again..

CJ did not "get hurt." CJ was systematically and maliciously battered by a thug and a murderer.

 

Actually the offense we have now can function without CJ. The Ravens game already mentioned is a poster child of how we used to be. CJ goes down and we were dead in the water on offense. Sure the offense will have to rely on other players making contributions but assuming Ringer is a little more dynamic than LW, Britt is a better WR option than McCariens, Young steps it up a notch and we have guys like Cook and D. Williams step along with Wasington and Gage we have other options on offense were when we played the Ravens we had little to fall back on.

Now I agree if I were Bud I'd personally write the kid a check for 5 mil and be done with it. That would hold him over for a year or two when they can re-work his contract.

I find it funny, however, seeing all the haters in this thread bashing cj like he's some sort of 5 IQ idiot just because he speaks "street" and at the same time acting like he's not a fundamental peg in this teams' offense.

Its freakin' laughable...but then again this board is really ceasing to surprise me. (i.e. the b****ing about getting Derrick Morgan...LMAO)

 

Show CJ the $. He's the best RB in the NFL so pay him like that. Just make sure it's mostly incentives so he keeps producing down the road. If he wants to be the highest paid player, bring a SB to Tennesee first.

 

He doesn't speak "street". Speaking street is fine. I'm a hip-hop fanatic. I've got no problem with hood slang or the way they speak.

He's just not very... fluid when he speaks. And some of the things he does say doesn't help that any.
