The problem was that it was 50/50.

For every time he got stopped at or before the line, he had another were he would take the wrong hole or not beat someone one on one.

You don't pay or expect Ringer to be able to do that, you do with CJ. A top paid back needs to take the best path and he consistently choose wrong.

It was just as much his fault as anybody on that line IMO. NFL.com also had a great video of him getting blown up by a defender after he was not paying attention. It shown atleast 3/4 clips of him standing around on pass plays and finally a defender laid him out.

People talk about Moss not giving any effort, CJ was guilty of the same thing last year.

Of course it's about the money... which clearly shows he cares more about getting paid than his performance.

It's alright. 90% of players are the same way.

Screw rushing yards. Can't he promise something like we will win the SB?

I fully expect Chris Johnson to lead the league (in Tweeting) next season.

Personally, I think this is good news. If CJ is willing to put this pressure on himself, I believe it shows he is dedicated to putting in the work necessary to raise his level of play considerably from a year ago. He will be with the team this offseason due to his contractual obligations. Last year was a nightmare for him. As we all are, I am very hopeful we'll have the old CJ back this upcoming season. I have to believe the teams O-Line will be better, and I believe Locker will win the starting QB job, which I believe will open cut back lanes for CJ somewhat. (much like having VY back there did) No way am I ready to write CJ off at all. I want CJ to be confident, and it appears he still is.

I remember his last off-season prediction.

    3,000 yards.

    And he. Well.

    Yeah.

    I can tweet it, too.

He's not confident, he's c0cky and an attention whore. But like yourself, I too am hopeful he'll pop back to 2008-2009 form. It's too soon to be fed up with him.

Thats simply not what I saw after watching, i think it was 6 games posted.

    It was far from 50/50.
