I'm trying to holdoff on the Mariota talk until the order is finalized. But, I'm really loving:

    1st: Mariota
    2nd: OLB
    3rd: OL
    3rd: OLB (comp for Vern?)
    4th: DB

I'd be thrilled with that. Get the face of our franchise, two young passrushers, a Levitre replacement, & another young DB. Sounds solid, especially if we paired it with some decent FAs.

But, we'll end up beating the Jags and we'll cry.

I agree that trading back is the best option. However, Drew Brees was the same way. He worked out pretty well. You just never know until they have to do it. If we are going to gamble on a QB I would rather it be Mariota than Winston.

I also love your draft. Get the Face of the Frachise, then go D. And I guarantee that either Mauldin or Dupree will slide to the 2nd. And depending on how FA goes, we could use one of those picks on WR. I will lose my **** if we beat the Jags On Thursday.

I saw that, and I respect Dungy, but thats a hell of a comparison.

Yea I don't see it... plus I respect Dungy a lot less now that he has proven to have a gaping vag, being one of the losers to refer to the Redskins as "the Washington team."

So who knows. I will definitely be watching the Oregon/FSU game closely. I do expect Oregon to win that one. FSU has gotten too lucky for too long now (this season).

If Winston has a poor game, I think he drops fairly far.

Should be a great game to watch, rooting for Oregon and Mariota to win.

If Winston were to have a bad game, is there a chance that he decides not to declare for the draft this year?

I was wondering that too and also for Mariota. If they don't win the championship this year, is he motivated to come back because of "unfinished business"? If he and Winston both stay, this QB class is going to be a mess, but it will make things easier for teams at the top of the draft.

I have a hard time seeing Mariota not come out ... I get that some players would rather go back and 'finish what they started' and try to win a championship, but he just won't have a better season that he just had. Heisman winner is hard to repeat.

However with Winston, I feel like his stock has seemed to take a dip somewhat anyway. He seems to have had some trouble early on in a few games lately. If he puts up a bad game or not so stellar game in the playoffs, that could see his stock dip even more. Plus, his image/attitude (whether fair or not) will have an impact on how a lot of teams view him ... maybe another year to work on his image and game would be better for him.

Though with Winston, I guess I highly doubt he would turn down the money now. He will go in the 1st round regardless anyway.
