Rumor Cleveland offers Tennessee, 2, 1st round picks for #2 overall

Well clearly it depends on the total package we receive. If we get 3 or 4 1sts then hell yeah it was a win. But if we get #12, #19 and a 2016 2nd then we got fleeced IMO.

Yeah the Titans need to ride the course - no need to jump all over a deal quite yet. The closer it gets to draft time the more likely Haslam will throw the kitchen sink at us (let's hope)

 

The last thing I want to see on draft day is that the Titans made a so-so deal and could have gotten more ... It's our damn time now ... Make a splash if they are in fact going to trade out! Screw Cleveland over!

@2ToneBlueBlood nailed why we need future picks. We're bypassing a QB this year and rolling with Matt ****ing Mettenberger. If ZFM doesn't work out we can package the picks together next year to move up.

We just shown our hand, we don't want Mariotta. Now the Browns have some leverage with the Jags/Raiders. If we want a trade, then we can't be too picky, it all depends on how our board looks.

 

The browns would never actually agree to the deal until after TB picks Winston. This is a non-issue.

 

ESPN Titans reporter Paul Kuharsky denies a report that the Browns offered two first-round picks to Tennessee for the No. 2 overall pick.




Kuharsky reports the Browns haven't made an offer at all to the Titans. It's some ESPN-on-ESPN crime, as Kuharsky's co-worker, Browns reporter Pat McManamon, reported earlier Wednesday that Cleveland indeed made the offer. This doesn't mean the Browns aren't interested in coming up to No. 2. It's draft week. This is just the latest reminder to not believe everything you read.
