You're likely correct. I'm thinking today (or tomorrow) is the day. I'd assume Ruston, Tommy, other high up FO personnel meet up today to discuss. Hopefully they make the correct choice and it's announced today. Black Monday or bust.

I don't think that's true. The reason is, Tommy Smith said he wouldn't make a decision until the first week of January. It's still December. I don't think Tommy Smith likes talking to the media, so this declining comment and delaying could be just a case of avoiding answering questions until he makes up his mind.

 

Me armed with a copy of Madden would be better than what we've suffered through the last three years.

Yeah, but every day that passes between now and a decision is another day that we're behind the curve. Another day that a quality candidate could be snatched up. If the 2 or 3 guys you really like sign elsewhere while you're over here with your thumb up your ass then keeping Munch another year starts to look more and more attractive.

 

Makes no sense to me.

Most of the franchise is becoming disenchanted with this guy. He's not a winner. Don't understand it from a business or person standpoint from the fans.

Show me ONE person who thinks Mike Munchak is the right guy to bring the Titans a superbowl and I'll show you an idiot.

John Gruden lingered around the same 3 weeks Jeff Fisher lingered around before being shown the door. I think not firing Munchak today is a respect thing. He's been here for 31 years right.... It's got to be hard to fire a guy the organization has known for 31 years.

 

No one will come here under Munchak, we're stuck with that 12 year old as OC if Munchak stays.
