Uhm. Yes. Actually. Quite a bit.

His team donated a million. His actions got many others to donate millions.

And he himself donated 1 million- while still donating 100k per month.

To act like he isn't passionate about his cause or that it's "done nothing" is... well, I'm sure you have your reasons. :)

Also- when his jersey sales went #1- he donated all the proceeds of those.

On the coast, you mean like Miami? http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/27/us/nfl-colin-kaepernick-castro-feud/

    Up north? Like Buffalo?

Of course... It's JUST about race... has absolutely nothing to do with his stupidity and actions. SMH

I don't think Kaepernick as a backup is a totally insane idea.

And I also feel quite confident that most players on an NFL team are enlightened enough to see that someone expressing free thought isn't a threat to them, their country, nor is it a distraction that would have any tangible impact on the outcome of a football game.

    I particularly like this sentence.
I never he said he wasn't passionate about his cause. I do disagree with his cause.
You quoted "done nothing". To quote somebody, they probably should have said it.
As far as him donating, that's fine but is separate from any impact his knee taking ceremony was. He could have donated anyway. I will consede that others did donate money because of his knee thing. I will look up those different causes and what they do.

Just gonna say that signing him would be a horrible idea based on his play and the distraction signing him would bring. Race has NOTHING to do with it. Anyone saying it does must forget the same people cheered Moon, McNair and Young as well as every other player ever to don an Oilers or Titans uniform but that's none of my business.

"Tried" to respect his cause as freedom of speech. Then that shred of respect went out the window when he didn't even vote. Can't anyone learn from the Patriots? Draft and pick up character guys. Even Belichick couldn't make this guy a winner.

This thread should be a vote just for the irony of it.

I will cast my vote now. Hell to the No!!!!
