    I think Kaepernick is more interested in being a virtue signaling social justice warrior than a pro football player at this point.

    Kaepernick would compete at QB1 for at least 9 teams in the NFL (Bills, Jets, Browns, Texans, Broncos, Bears, Vikings, Rams, 49ers)... I'm sure he'd like to go to a place where he can at least compete for starter. Kaepernick is a money guy too, he wouldn't take QB2 money if he got QB1 offers.

    Pats don't target character guys any more than any other team. They just have a culture that low character guys conform to.

    True. They also have an extremely strong group to get that conformation. We have some great character guys but I don't think anyone here can honestly say our locker room is strong enough at this point to bring in low character or problem children.
