Collins and Simms are accurate passers

    I'm pretty sure I've seen stats showing that Collins has been sacked less times per snap(or maybe per attempt) over his career than Young has.

    Young is more mobile, Collins gets rid of the ball faster. We'll see what happens over the next 4 weeks

    It will take more than 2 weeks if it happens, and I think it is possible. Simms needs to learn the offense. If he shows it in practice, then it is up to Fisher's loyalty to Collins.

    I'm not gonna read this entire thread, because frankly I'm too lazy, but the only thing that matters in my mind is this (if the point has been made I apologize)...

    if our D and our running game plays consistently like they did last week we can go a long way this year with a Trent Dilfer style game manager at QB. Don't turn the ball over, play field position, be conservative on O... win win win.

    I'm waiting for the words "crafty old veteran" to be used by the announcers to describe Collins this week.

    Heck, I would be happy with a QB that has 33.3% completion as long as he doesnt turn the ball over. The passes must be 10+yards though.
