Colts Game?

    When we beat the Steelers this Sunday, what will the Titans Colts game mean? Will we need to win that to keep homefield, or does that game become meaningless?

    A win over the Steelers makes the Colts game meaningless. And if the Colts beat the Jags this week, they'll probably rest most of their starters as well since they'll play in the Wild Card.

    It'll be a snoozer if both teams win this week.

    A win and it's meaningless, but if we lose, then it's probably a repeat of last year, where we play to win and the Colts rest. I'm fine with that, even though whining Colts fans will just keep whining.

    If you don't want us to beat you, don't sit your players!

    Well, if by some chance, we do lose this week. Then we have to beat the Colts and the Steelers have to lose for us to then get homefield?

    Steelers have to win both games for HFA....Titans need to just win 1...if Titans lose, but beat the Colts and Steelers lose to the Browns(Unlikely) we get #1.....basically this is the game that should matter most to Tennessee....you win, you get HFA and can rest starters in week 17

    If we lose to the Steelers and beat the Colts, we end up with a 13-3 record. If the Steelers win out, they end up with a 13-3 record. They'd have the tie-breaker in the "head-to-head". So, we don't need to just win 1 as you said at the start of your post ---- or am I missing something?

    Allow me to rephrase: If by some chance we beat the Steelers then we lock up home field. I definitely consider us the underdog, especially without AH and KVB. In fact, I see it nearly impossible to win this game without those two, it changes our entire defensive philosophy when we cant get consistent pressure with just our front four. Time to find out what our depth really looks like

    I don't think we need our A-game Defense to beat the Steelers, their offense is not so much...but we will need our best game from our offense to win...
