I like the character. Looks pretty ****** in a white suit though, lol.

 

I've been getting caught up on TMNT. It's such a good series.

 

I haven't opened it yet. I'm trying to finish Black Science. Awesome so far.

 

I think you'll enjoy it. For the most part the stories have been great and I love the artwork. If I had one minor complaint I wish it was a bit more dark and violent like the original series started out. It does get old seeing Raphael hit bad guys with the butt of his sai over and over. But I do understand they are going for universal appeal with it.

 

At least shredder isn't an utrom like krang this time. Lol

Did you ever watch the turtles forever special? They had a big crossover with all the different representations, and the original turtles were in it, the whole thing was pretty awesome.

 

LOL really? I never got super far into the original run.

Can't say I ever even heard of it. Might have to check it out though.

 

It wasn't the original show, it was in the 2005 series, it wasn't bad, but i wasn't really into it.

Yeah, you should see if you can find the little movie though, the whole thing is like your chilhood coming back to haunt you in the best way possible. Lol

Only thing anout the turtles i can't stand though is how kiddyfied they've gotten.

Their original and only purpose was to get revenge against shredder for splinter, and murder him. The old comics had some brutal stuff in them.

More stabby stabby, less bonky bonky.

Wolverine suffered a similar problem in the old x men cartoon, slash everything that isn't organic. Although in avengers: EMH He shows up and cuts some velociraptors to shreds, right in front spider man. Which was awesome!

 

Its defiantly worth a watch.

My only complaint is that the 80s cartoon version were made to 'party' too much. I guess it was too show the difference between them and the 2005 version.
