Doesn't that story deserve to be seen on film?

    Awesome stuff.

If they do another stand alone Batman movie Court of Owls should be the script. We've seen all the other Bat-villians in movies.

Too bad they completely jumped the shark and destroyed Ultimates after the first two volumes which were some of the best comics put out by Marvel...ever

The ultimate universe should die if it hasn't already.

Rumored Marvel is about to reboot the comic universe next year similar to DC which worked out well in my opinion.

Cast incredibly hot girl as a character who's power is to turn invisible.

    Terrible

FF and Doom belong in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Especially Doom and Reed Richards. The rest can eat dicks.

MCU would be perfect with Spidey, Richards and Doom.

They can leave the X Men on their own. They work better that way even in the comics.

Jeph Loeb killed that universe with The Ultimates volume 3, followed by Ultimatum.

Yeah it would be great as a film. Not sure the studios would ever "waste" a Batman movie on that story though. The average fan wants to see big name villains they know.

The only bigger white bread, Honkey CRACKA than Reed Richards, is Captain America. They had to tone him down, and put socially "cool" and hot ScarJo people around him to make his movies palatable. It worked.

Honkey cracka is the only way to express my feelings on Reed Richards. lol.

520, to elaborate, he is just a straight laced guy... nothing too interesting about him. He is like a '60s TV dad. He is classic comic book material. Cap has the whole 1940s reason to be very old-timey. Mr Fantastic doesn't. It's like making a movie based around Cyclops, no depth to the character, just the "leader" type superhero.

They would have to change the entire character to make him anything more than silly in the MCU as it is now. Unless they are able to work in a time-freeze from the 60s or 70s, like a worse Austin Powers.

I am also a white bread, honkey cracka, so I really know one when I see it. Plus, he looks like a politician or a weather man more than a superhero.

They're doing it because there's a clause in the contract that if they don't do a FF (and same with X-Men I think) in x amount of years, the rights revert back to Marvel.

Same with Sony and and Spider-man.

Marvel and Fox aren't on good terms at the moment.
